Hey all, new to the boating world here.1956 7.5 seahorse. Model ad-10. serial# 1404323. I just got the boat, from my dad and he filled the tank 50: 1,using Quicksilver oil. I have seen alot of other people are mixing 32:1. Any suggestions for this motor? I ran it this weekend, it ran fine at wot, but kept stalling at low rpm.

You should be using 20:1

I do know that some of the guys stick to 24:1 from on here, but will let them add to this.
When was the carb last cleaned? What is the condition of the coil? Have you checked the spark and compression? If they check out, look to fuel delivery.

The recommended mix for that engine is 24:1
