My plans are to drill and tap spot circled in red with 1/8 inch pipe thread.
Mikuni pulse pump will be bolted to spot circled in green - replacing existing bolt with longer bolt.
"new" bolt will be 1.31 inches thread length which will also support a .125 thick "washer " that will give additional support to pump.
Mikuni will be installed "backwards" with pulse nipple facing into area marked VOID in pic.

No reason that wont work.

Length matters here! Keep yer pulse line short, and ensure the throttle tower movement wont contact pump. Should be good to go.

Also, dont forget to plug old pressure line off manifold.

The pulse line is a "heavy" 3/16 fuel line and I'm using 1/4 in nipples to keep it tight as a tick.
If the Mikuni was mounted with pulse line sticking out, it would be rubbing on the cowl.
Sat and stared at the $%^& thing for an hour looking at all the different possibilities. This plan looks best.
I wanted to bounce it off the collective wall before the drill bits came out.

Yes - old pressure nipple will be blocked off. thanx
