Many of those parts may be a stock item at some dealers.------Many parts were used the 22 cubic inch motors to 1976 model year.-----Sometimes best to go in with part numbers.------Saying you have a 1956 motor will get you kicked out the door.
iboats sells parts. They will have a seal kit for a newer model (18hp), but it will have the wrong prop shaft seal, which you will have to buy separately. Exception: If the gearcase head has been replaced, it may have the newer seal. You need to know what you have before ordering parts.
I have one of those. It really is a tank. Mine didn't run when I got it but I was fortunate enough that the gearcase didn't leak and now its just peachy. Attached is a part listing for the motor. Iboats has had everything I needed except when I had to replace the cylinder head.
