Providing if equipped with the pressure gas tank system, you are familiar with how that works, and are aware of how advantagious it is to keep the tank near full when pratical and also not too far below the motor,..........

Note that on many of the older motors the main jet adjustment shaft (and perhaps the idle one too) have a tendancy to wear down around the area where they go through the packing nut. That and the packing in the packing nut can become hardened, it may require that you loosen the packing nut a bit to acertain exact closing and reopening to the beginning settings. It can be important that the packing nut while being snug still allows the shaft to turn while not leaking.

At Idle you can turn the slow speed inward till it lets out a sneeze and dies or tries to die. Then open back up a good quarter turn. Perhaps a bit more if it still wants to sneeze.

On the high speed, once underway and at full throttle turn the control slowly a half turn in each direction till maximum performance is attained than open it about 1/8-1/4 turn while not allowing it to too rich and lose RPM. If you don't see any difference in the initial half turn back and forth try a full turn back and forth.

If either of the adjustments makes no difference then you may have problems with that "circuit"
