1956 Johnson 15 HP Questions

I am thinking of using this motor on a boat I am building and wanted to know a bit more about it. <br /><br />Does this motor recharge the battery on its own or does it have to be charged separately? <br />Is it a reliable motor for every day (not hard) use? <br />Does anyone have a wiring diagram that shows the connection from battery to starter and all the steps in between? <br /><br />Thanks

a fifteen horse motor, properly tuned, should start in a pull or three ... and they are easy pulling engines<br /><br />turning the key is nice, but its also another thing to break ... enjoy the retro life, pull the string and hear it sing, lol
