1957 mfg - Does anyone know anything about this classic?

We just got a 1957 MFG and she is beautiful and in perfect shape! All original parts. Took her out Saturday and got lots of comments. Not sure about the motor (it's probably newer) or the year of the motor (old) but we had a good time!

I was wondering if anyone could give me any more information about these boats (including value).

How should I maintain the wood on the top? She's always been inside, so she is still pretty, just want to make sure I use the right oil on the wood to brighten her up.

I assume from your description you've got one of the old wood decked MFG's... Cool old boats!

As for value, well- That's always tough. They CAN be worth a little to a collector, but don't expect to be able to retire from what you make selling one.... Old boat collectors are few and far between, and most of us are cheap
