1957 sportwin 10 hp no spark,new coils

I have replaced coils I have swapped condensers. I still have no spark on the top plug. plug wires OK. I did take out one of the condensers and pulled over motor, Both plugs fired??????. I need help any suggestions.could this be a short some where?

The ignition system on that motor is very simple.<br />Go through every thing methodicly checking for shorts, I've had my plug leads short out where they are clamped.<br />Make sure all of your ground conections are clean and tight.<br />Check the contacts on your points, clean them up and regap to 0.020"

Sounds like you have a bad condenser! It will fire without it, but will burn the points. I would change both sets of points and both condensers.
