1958 7.5hp Johnson Carburetor swap

I picked up a 1958 7.5hp Johnson that did not have a carburetor. I have a carburetor from a 1958 5.5hp Johnson. Can I put that one on the 7.5hp Johnson?

Not really sure, but my guess is it will fit. But you will come up short a couple of horses, if it does
