1958 Evinrude 7.5 Fleetwin (shift cable lock)

Hello,

I’m building a William Jackson inspired Mini Most (mini hydro). I picked up a 1958 Evinrude 7.5 Fleetwin to power it. Currently trying to setup remote throttle and shift using a simplex box. It’s obvious where the throttle cable clip/anchor is supposed to be secured. I’m not finding info on the shift cable clip/ anchor for that year. This particular year doesn’t have the mount on the hood like later years. Could anyone share pics or part numbers for the shift cable lock/anchor on a 58?

It requires a remote control adapter kit. I have a picture---somewhere. But dang if I can find it. But here is a picture for the wrong year, which probably won't fit your '58. But you get the idea.

I was able to find the correct adapter. Part number 277579.
