Doing Resto Job. I have taken the fuel and air line 'off' the motor and the steering swivel bracket (base) and forgot which line goes where now? Help please. I thought I had schematics but don't. I think it may be obvious but would like to know for sure.

http://1958evinrude10hp.0catch.com/Evinrude1.htm

With the facing the protrusions on the connector side of the outboard fuel connector with the clip post up top, the fuel inlet is the one on the left, and the air outlet is the one on the right. If you have a duel line tank connector, it should have 'Fuel' and 'Air' written on the respective sides.
Is that your site? I noticed it about a month ago - it is very nice indeed. It's helped a few QD owners here already!

The connector itself is actually marked "Air" and "Fuel" on the plug side of the casting. The "Fuel" line would run directly to the carburetor, and the "Air" line would run to the nipple on the base of the intake manifold. The gas tank is also marked right where the fuel hoses connect to the tank.
- Scott

Thank you very much. Had not messed with the tank yet or I would have noticed. How easy could it be.
