I wanna change my water pump and thermstat on my 59 evinrude big twin. Anybody know the part numbers for these, my nearest dealership can't look them up without the part numbers. They say their books only go back to 60. Thanks.
The '59 (35hp) and '60 (40hp) take the same water pumps and thermostats. No problem in that area. The 40 has a bigger bore and slightly different carburetor. Most of the rest of the motor is the same.
