1959 deep-V HURRICANE Runabout

to Everyone,

I've found an attractively designed & evidently complete (the boat needs to be repainted, recarpeted & the seats redone/re-installed) 1959 HURRICANE sixteen-foot runabout (it's 16 feet down the centerline & 6.5 feet wide) here in the San Antonio metro area & after "googling" HURRICANE (other than a "model-name" for a 14ft CROSBY or the current "deckboats"/party-barges, of course) i have found NOTHING on the company and/or their 1955-70s boats.
(i do NOT even know if the maker of the deckboats is the same company as the builder of this 1959 runabout.)

Does anybody have:
1. any information on the boat-builder,
2. pictures of the boat when new,
3. photos of the original interior
and/or
4. brochures for 1959?????

ADDENDA, 8PM 8/20/12 - While cleaning out the hull, we found a data-plate with the following information:
HURRICANE PLASTICS CORP., 135 Harvard Street, Houston, Texas
Serial # 1035.
