I received new parts today and this seemingly simple issue is really givin me a hard tim
Well -----I think we need to start with the model number or pictures of your motor.----I am not sure that the 10 HP models use 2 nuts at the top of the shift rod.----Is the shift rod one piece or 2 pieces with a brass coupler half way down the exhaust housing ??
Thanks for responding. The model #10018. Its a two piece rod. According to the diagrams the upper rod connects to the bell crank with the 2 nuts with a star washer between them. ( a jam nut )
