Compression test shows 30 in one hole and 90 in the other. Add oil and they both are at 120. It seems i need to remove the powerhead to see whats going on in the top piston. Is their an easy way to do this? I rather remove the piston without doing this but it doesnt look possible. Anyone have any advice on what bolts to remove for the power head, my intent is to leave as much attached as possible. Videos? How To's?
The factory service manual is pretty lame with directions, 1959 info.
Thanks! I really want to get this vintage motor running

Don't remove the powerhead yet. Remove the exhaust cover and you can see the pistons, and check the rings. Also, remove the head and see how the head gasket looks.

I did just this. Top cyl rings are broken and the top ring is frozen in the piston :(.

Major disassembly involved. Rear cover off, powerhead bolts & nuts. Fuel system undone. Ignition system removed.
