1960 10 HP Johnson Black drainage from LU water Ports.

Al right guys, Here is one on me. I have got my old engine running good. After removal from water. I noticed a black drainage, from my lower unit water ports. Lower unit oil is fine. It is draining onto my blade. It this a carbon build up, or have I lost a seal some where?

Just partly burnt oil from the fuel. Normal with 2 strokes.

Read the article and found it enlighting. I was trolling for stripper low RPM all day. Makes sense. I changed the lower unit seals and oil anyway.
