1960 cutter brand boat

i have recently inheritated a 1960 cutter brand boat. i have looked on the net but been unable to find much info about it. would like advice on where to look or if any clubs to contact.

Is that the one that looks like a cross between a camper and a boat (high slab sided cabin job)? I was always intreagued with them.

no, this is a sky boat. it has fins on it like the old cadillacs did. it kinda funky looking now but should be neat when properly redone

my uncle had a Cutter. It was about 16 ft long and had the big fins your talking about. It had a 70hp Johnson/Evinrude on it and was a lot of fun.<br /><br />Have you tried http://www.fiberglassics.com/ ?<br /><br />Good luck

Welcome to the club---- I just got one myself, it was a (haul it away and it's yours) --striped to the bone with alot of crazing but it looks to be a good winter project,<br />my kids want me to paint it black and call it the bat-ma-boat. if you hunt around www.fiberglassics.com you should find some pics and info on them.------------- me know how it goesgood luck let

I owned a 1961 18ft Cutter with 100 Johnson. They were nice boats mine with 4 people would do 45mph. It had giant fins at least 18 inches high .....cool looking boat....Ted
