The prop on this motor doesnt seem to be at a 9.25 diameter. When I measure, it seems to show 8.25. What is the proper way to measure the diameter? From what I can tell the original is suppose to be a 9.25 diam with a 7" pitch. Part # 012102. Any help would be great as the old one is a bit nicked up. THe new ones show a rubber hub. Is that standard these days? Looks like it is pin drive and a 3 blader.
Evinrude shows a 9" diam and 9" pitch which would decrease the RPM 200-400 from a 7"pitch. So which one is original and which do I have?

I took some acetone and found the numbers on the prop 383629 =9"x10 3 blade prop. Michigan Marine has one with a new part number 012011. Several oldies on EBay as well but pretty beat up. Boyd

So I found another 9"diameter with a 10.5 pitch. The original was a 10* pitch. Will I even notice the difference and if so what will it be? Lower top end

changing props from 10* to 10.5 on a 1960 18hp Fastwin.

My original prop is nicked up a bit and it is a 9"-10*. I found another off a 68 and it is a 10.5* pitch. Will I notice the difference and if so what will I notice? Top end?

Since you don't know what your RPM's and speed were with the last prop there's no way to say what will happen with this one.

You can have the old one fixed for not much money.
