1960 Evinrude Fastwin Timing Marks on Flywheel?

Hey all,

I have a 1960 Evinrude Fastwin that needed some ignition work.
I am ready to reinstall that stator plate with the new ignition parts installed.
I was looking for marks on the flywheel so that I could complete static timing on it while putting it all back together.
I have attached photos of the flywheel and I see no distinguished marks to use for static timing, am I missing something?

TIA,
JG

Well there are 2 single timing marks on the flywheel.----They are 180 degrees apart.-----Might even be a notch on the very bottom edge.--------Or put handle at slowest idle.------Remove sparkplugs.------Bring piston to TDC.------See if any " marks " are between the 2 vertical timing marks on the magneto plate.

Good Call.
I'll check this out, thanks.

Thanks, I was wondering about those.
They just weren't as nicely defined as what I have seen on other motors. Almost look like they are the joint of the form used to produce the flywheel.
