1961 10hp water tube upper grommet

me again...

while having the lower off, the water tube looks kinda funky twisted, and peeking up the leg the upper grommet looks worn and might need a replacement. The tube is still in the upper grommet. How big of a deal this is to replace that upper grommet? Does the powerhead needs to come off? Didn't want to pull the tube before knowing what to expect. Thanks.

Also can't find the part number for that upper grommet...

It's the same # as the one in the water pump and installs the same way--except it is harder to reach. You access it from below, not via powerhead. OMC had a special tool for it, which didn't work worth beans. I just use the poke and prod method with a couple of long/wide screwdrivers
