I'm almost to the point of putting seats in my 1961 alumacraft queenmMerrie 18'. It has the original seats but no bases. They're 3 piece back to back seats. 2 seats and one a shaped backrest. However I can't see any screw holes from where they were mounted. Did they just sit on top of a wooden box? There's a 1.5" recession. In each of the bases where it could sit on something.
