I have decided I need to consolidate my 4 boats down to 2. One of them is an old wood and fiberglass hydroplane my dad made in highschool, almost 50 years ago. Very similar to this guy.

I've been trying to find a value for the 1961 Johnson QD-22 motor that I have for it, but I can't find any info anywhere online. I just started it up and it runs good, but i'm sure it could use some TLC that I do not have the time to give.

Does anyone have any experience with a basic value for this motor? I would probably rate it good condition.

It does have the 5 inch extension in the shaft, and I do still have the original gas can and hose.

Any help would be great appreciated!

These motors have little value to the general public.------Shops do not work on them.----If they do it is $100 / hr.-----Those that know how to fix them have lots of them already at $50 or less to get them.
