hey everyone, was hoping to get some advice on how to go about fixing this one, I pulled the seats out of my boat  someone cut through the hull with a skill saw, about the width of the blade and 2 inches long, the fiberglass patch on the inside came off pretty easy with a screw driver, I ground all around the cut and epoxied a couple layers of glass on the inside, looks okay but what I'm wondering is what's the best way to fix the outside, there is no sign of any repair to the outside. the epoxy I used is NHP finishing resin (clear -n- simple) I was planning on covering it with some kind of water proofing paint but with so many products out there I don't know what to use, need to know if the epoxy I used is crap? also there's an 8 inch crack along one of the strakes, I cannot get to the inside of this repair without cutting out the deck. there are also some minor chips and scratches. please help with some inexpensive product ideas,i.e(epoxy, paint, glass, roving?, etc). I will try to get some pics, thanks, Jason

I would use some water proof epoxy putty on the outside cracks. Then sand very well and prime it for the coating you want.

here's some pics of the damage, also I was wondering if anyone could help me identify the builder of this boat, the title says 61 powercat but when I do a search all I see is catamarans, thanks, J
