Hello all, this is my first post and I’m still a reallllllly new guy. A 1963-ish Larson All American 16 footer with a Johnson Super Seahorse Electramatic 40 kinda fell in my lap, and I didn’t buy it with my eyes closed - it is a full restore with transom, deck and stringers, but I’m looking forward to it - I’ve put together lots of old cars, so this is a new mechanical and restoration challenge.

I’m terrible about pics, but I will work on creating enough posts and figuring out how to do it here.

I wanted to simply thank all of you folks who have contributed to the knowledge base here- the stickies have given me the confidence to do this job, and as I get past the epoxy and hull work and on to the mechanical, I’m sure I’ll find just as much information in the other parts of the forum.

So that’s it for now, but, like I said, I appreciate all the work you guys have shared - it’s really nice to not deal with the egos I’ve encountered in so many other forums. Thanks for giving so selflessly!
