1964 90hp Evinrude missing at high rpm

I recently purchased a boat with a 90hp evinrude. First 5 times I took it out it ran well, but one day it stalled on the lake. After that the engine would not run at high speeds. It seemed to idle well but would miss at higher RPM's.<br /><br />I replaced plugs, checked for spark, replaced distributor cap and rotor, checked for coil function and removed and inspected carberator (not completely though). I also inspeced and replaced worn fuel lines, purchased new tanks and triple checked fuel mixture and spark plug wiring. <br /><br />Could this be a float or needle valve problem in the carb? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
