Looking for some help on an old outboard. I have some fuel that appears to be coming from the cooling system (stream of water from engine). This all started after having the fuel pump apart because of a fuel delivery problem. Could a fuel pump malfunction be causing this?
Thanks

It's very unlikely that fuel is getting into your cooling system. Does your primer bulb get hard when you prime it? What does the bottom spark plug look like compared with the top one?
I suspect you have a hole in your fuel pump diaphram, which would leak fuel into the bottom cylinder's crankcase. This in turn is getting pumped out either by the drainage system, or through a leaky bottom crankshaft seal.
What was your previous fuel delivery problem?
