Ayuh,... I think you'll find that the Only thing those 2 motors have in common is the "85hp" sticker,...

Though the props may fit each other,...
The prop ain't really part of the motor,...

Well...........if you were really really creative you could take the power trim 'n tilt setup off the 85hp Triple and splice it into the 85 Hp Inline Six.

But it'd be quite a bit of work, involving removal of the powerhead on both motors; undoing the upper and lower motor mounts and swapping out, plus a special bushing and maybe some re-working of the lower cowling/steering attachment.

It'd be really cool when you're done, though! Oh, yeah, the prop might work if it's the correct pitch and you used the proper spacer & thrust washer for the prop.

You might be able to retro-fit the control box & cables, but you'd have to either splice into the old motor's external harness, or install the complete external harness from the old motor into the newer box.

You're rapidly approaching FrankenMerc territory! If you're really into this kinda stuff, let me know and I'll put you in touch with my good buddy "Dr. FrankenMerc", he'll have some good tips for ya!

See the attached pic for one of the Doc's recent "creations".

Kool thanks for the info very helpful.
I thought so that it was only the sticker in common. I was looking at besides the prop was the trim cylinders as one if mine that's on it is leaking oil pretty bad. I was think either buying a cylinder rebuild kit or just buy another pwr trim and use it and take it from there, as the cheapest I've been able to the kit at was $54 and I could use the controls as I think my neutral safety switch is toast and that part is NLA $150 isn't to bad but the guy does have two of theses 3cylinder with pwr TNT for 300 smackers with controls for each just don't have the garage space :(

The lower drain screws on the lower unit are also compatible.

Also, I think you'll find that the later 850s are actually 4-cylinder, not 3.
