posted September 17, 2003 09:45 PM <br />--------------------------------------------------------------------------------<br />Hello I have purchased a 1997 lund 18ft fisherman and motor, 65 mercury 150hp heres what i have been told about the motor,the motor is from germany and it was designed for racing,was called thunderbolt thats whats on the motor?I was told that it is a rare motor? the top end has been rebuilt and starts fine the problem is i cant get it to hook up in the water wont go over 5mph the boat has been sitting for 3 years and its from MN.I live in colorado does this sound like elevation problems and if so how hard is it to find the correct jets for this motor.sorry I dont have any numbers as of yet from the motor to help? can get back to you with them if needed.thank you for any info given
