I received this motor for free Model # RKL=27A. Can anyone tell me where I hook up my water muffs to this ? It is impossible to hook up where you normaly do. I suppose i need to sit in a drum.
Also in my Seloc book that I bought shows that this choke is heat/electric. I see the hole in the carb but don't know where the other end needs to go.
Also can anyone tell me how to wire these wires into the ignition switch and how many terminal switch I need to buy. In the Seloc book it shows what gauge wire goes where. It doesn't show what color goes where.
Also the book doesn't say what the gas/oil mixture is. I'm guessing 50:1

No muffs for that one; use a drum or trash can.
1964 and newer use 50:1 ratio
The heat tube for the choke runs from the choke ***'y on the carb to where your finger is in the 4th picture. Since you don't have the fittings for it on the exhaust cover, the cover has probably been changed out. I wouldn't worry about it; the hot air choke was pretty worthless (in my opinion :) ). I haven't had mine hooked up in years and just use the manual and electric choke to get it started.

This link may be some help for wiring. I do know the old OMC kill circuit is two black wires each wired to one M terminal.
