Have an electric start 65, 40HP Evinrude, was just given the boat and motor, upon start up, the engine cranks good then makes a loud pop (backfire?) after which it starts and runs fine, how do I correct? Also the boat (65 Glastron V143) has a tach and speedo that are not operating, sugestions to repair?
