You are asking for the voltage specs? Should be same as battery voltage. Check at green wire with control in forward and key on. Check at blue wire with control in reverse.

Parts?? Depends on what you need and what you want to pay. Nothing in there is cheap. Some is obsolete.

Engine Not running...... Key in ON position...... Shift switch in whatever mode (reverse/forward) you're testing...... Volt black lead connected to powerhead ground, Red lead connected to whichever shift wire knife connector you're testing..........

Assuming the battery is perfect and fully charged.

With the shift wire knife connectors still connected BUT with the insulating 2boot slid back, the mode you're testing should read a full 12 volts. Anything less indicates a faulty shift switch or faulty wiring.

Now, with the knife connectors disconected, and using a Ohm Meter. Same meter lead connections as above, the ohm reading of each shift coil should be 8 ohms. If using an ammeter (some people do), the reading should be between 1.5 to 1.9 amps.
