1965 Evinrude 9.5 Sportwin Recoil ?

I have a 1965 9.5 model 9522c with a broken recoil. My local dealer has the spring in stock but the shaft inside the recoil is broken and he says that is not available. Anybody have any idea were to find the recoil assy. new or used? I have been using a rope around the flywheel for now, but that is not a long term solution!

marineengine.com has diagrams of your motor...look under the power head starter group..page 11 for the pics..page 10 for the parts numbers..enter part no. in the search box...ebay might be a cheaper choice
