Hello, I have an OMC Deluxe 17. The fuel guage isnt working. While testing the circuit I was quite confused to find that there is continuity between the sender and the + side of the battery, with all wires disconected except what I presume to be the ground. I discovered this by mistake. I am not very sharp in electrical diagnosis but this just doesnt make any sense to me. If anyone could shed some light on this it would be very much appreciated.
