I have a 1965 sportwin model 9522c. Rebuilt the carb, put in new points, condensers, plugs and impeller. It starts and runs very well ubtil warm - then its very hard to restart? It also will not run with the cover on?? Running at a high idle as soon as the cover gets close to closing, it slows down and dies. The cover is a Johnson 9 1/2 but seems to fit perfectly and is not interfering with the choke. I can also have the same effect by covering my hand over the carb. Any ideas? Thanks!!
