I'm having trouble maintaining idle on my 1966 Merc, it's a 110 HP with a merc control, the warm up idle level must be half way up to stay running, and it is a feat to shift into forward, reverse is so far out the lever is on the bottom of the controls. Are my controls shot, or seriously out of adustment? Should the idle lever be all the way down, or is it normal to have it raised? Where can I get info on adjusting the controls?
