1966 Merc 110 (9.8hp) no spark bottom cylinder

Tried spark test on both cylinders of 1966 Merc 110 (9.8hp) s/n 2074924. Top cylinder - good spark. Bottom cylinder - no spark. <br /><br />Possible next course of action?<br /><br />Thanks in advance

Check point set for cylinder without spark.

Clean the points, gap them at .018" and have the condensers checked. If it were mine, I would likely replace the consensers regardless, just because those old REPCO condensers can be troublesome. New ones will give you one less thing to worry about... And they're cheap, too!<br />- Scott
