So I recently bought an old boat that came with a 1967 35HP chrysler outboard model No.35742 and I was wondering if there's anywhere where I can find an owners/operators manual and searching for part's I haven't been able to come up with anything so I was wondering what is parts interchangeability like with the newer models.

There's probably a hundred or more parts to your outboard.
It would be impossible to know what parts you can swap from a newer model.
Maybe a little more specific as to what parts you need?

Right now the one I'm looking for would probably be the throttle linkage, the block that the throttle cable gets clamped into cracked in half and they way its designed the block itself can't just be swapped out its the entire linkage.

That's much better :)
Look on eBay or maybe someone here might have one(I'll look).
Picture helps too.

Search Wickware in the sight and you should find lots of info and Pics on my 35HP and Sharing Chrysler Info. Please note that the 35HP is closely related to the 45 and Specific 55HP for parts. I'll hope to get active "looking" and Sharing vs 'Doing" as I feel I am Retired for my safety. I had a good run with the 1968 35 HP on 1970, 14' Raycraft . Purchased used but like New IMO. Good Luck!
