1967 60hp Johnson....wrong prop?

I just purchased this boat so I have not had it the water yet. It's a 1967 crestliner aluminum hull. ANyhow the prop on the motor seems really small, 10 x 9 1/4. That size prop is not even listed as standard. When I get the boat on the water it will mainly be used for fishing and pulling the occasional tube. If any one here has a similar set up I could use some advice.

Is there a good source for a prop for this motor?

I guess after measuring closer you wouldn't get much bigger than a 10" diameter prop on it. Maybe it is the right one.

Unless your boat weighs about 5,000 pounds that is the wrong prop.

Gear ratio is 20:23 10 1/4 appears to be the largest diameter.
9 1/4 is the smallest pitch.intended for heavier boats.
highest pitch is 12".Diameter follows the prop design. If its intended for your motor the diameter will work.Pitch is the key determining factor.

MY MISTAKE, Steele I made an assumption and that is ALWAYS an error. I had no idea it had a 1.15:1 gear ratio. I looked everywhere and couldn't find anything earlier than 1972.

OK, I can't imagine that the boat will be that heavy (16' aluminum hull). Doesn't have a tach now but I'll get one once I get it in the water and see what that prop does. None of the props here on I-boats look to be correct. They have diameters up to 14" listed for this motor. And there all SS so a $350 prop is out of the question.
