Bought boat and motor cheap and no history.
Got the engine to start, burnt switch box. I dropped lower unit and installed new water pump parts, the old ones looked ok. When running engine on water muffs I get water flow out the center of prop, and after a few minutes it is slightly warmer than ingoing water temp. I thought engines of this vintage had a small hole that sprayed out a small stream to indicate water getting up into engine. I have not spray and can not identify any hole that would do so. Does this engine have such a thing? If so do you have a pic of where it might be?
Thanks in advance
