Motor runs great out to the old fishing hole,( large lake. ) From point to point runs great. When its time to go back to dock after awhile it seems to lose power. It still seems to go fairly well but it seems that it does not have the power it started out whith in the morning. Should the bulb stay firm when you are running the motor or just when you start up?

the bulb is a primer, once the fuel pump picks up the bulb looses it's firmness, it should not collapse. check and see if it is running hot, of if it is loosing spark on one cylinder. when it warms up.

Also , I think I remember someone saying that there is a special tool to check the spark plug. I can not remember what it was or where to buy it.
