Just bent prop tonight that has only been used 5 or 6 times since replacing a "spun" prop. The extra came with the boat which i have had for a short time anyway. Should I have prev. prop with bad hub rebuilt, bent prop repaired, or find new one all together? Both are cheap aluminum props. I recently passed up a prop at flea market for 20 bucks that the guy said would fit. (I dont know enough to tell if it was the right one or not so I passed). If it would be easier/cheaper to get new one, what size, pitch etc. do I need?
This is a 67' 50hp merc (ser#: 2119719) on a 16ft alum fishing boat (monarch) with all flooring etc. (in other words pretty heavy for alum. boat) it also has extra runners mounted to each ridge on bottom.
Sorry so "wordy" thanks for your help!
p.s.
I dont mind so much all the specifics about hole-shot, max speed and all of that, just general range that will work.(if that is reasonable)I am new at this stuff :)

May need to go to a prop shop and find out what pitch it is..
There is no way to guess what prop will work best, or even be in the right RPM range.
