Does anyone have a link to a website which offers online wiring diagrams? Apparently there is one as I found a post by another individual who found one but did not offer the listing.

Just a question on your wiring harness, what kind of shape is it in? For some reason, the wiring harness on those year engines has been reduced to a mess of crumb's. Are you going to need a new one before you can continue?

Thanx for your reply-- all the wiring seems good but I'm unsure where power is supposed to be; with the ignition key on, is power intended to run to the points, from there, where does it run to-- what is supposed to have power?

I am looking for a wiring harness for 55HP Evinrude and read this old posting, There is a reference by Mike Farish that he made his own and wondered where he got parts as well as the wiring diagram which won't open,
