This is my first post here and let me say this site has helped me more than any other site out there!! Bought this boat for $500 so i don't want to take it to a marina where it will cost that much for service so i have been living on this site.

Heres the issue, it starts right up but idles a little rough and doesn't like when i give it gas. The ignition system and sparks plugs were all recently replaced by the last owner, they all look brand new. I just pulled all the carbs and cleaned them and fixed one that was stuck open, the first problem i had with it not running, fixed by advice from here ;)

so now i've got it running so i've made progress but not great, below is the video. I tightened the screws on the carbs all the way and then backed them out about 1-1.5 turns per my manual but something doesn't seem right. Any advice??

It sounds like it is not getting enough gas. Have you checked fuel lines/filters?

I didn't see where you checked the compression, have you? You might check spark to see if it will jump a 7/16" air gap and be bright blue.

Spark I will check. As far as compression all three cylinders are about 115 psi. Brand new gas at 50:1 ratio. Primer bulb seems to stay hard as well.

Not sure if this is possible or not, but when i cleaned the carbs i adjusted the floats per the instructions, is it possible that maybe one is set to not release a lot of fuel? I'm new at the multi carb engines so i'm not sure if this would just make it not run at all or if it would make it run like it wasn't getting enough gas?
