1968 evinrude 6802c carb kit

Just a quick question. There's two carb kits listed for the 1968 evinrude. Mine is the 6802c model and I don't know which to order from you and do you have kits with the floats for it or able to order the float? Thanks.

Im not sure iboats has a kit for the 9.5hp. I see 2 for the 9.9 however, totally different carb. In fact, I don't think Sierra even makes a kit for the 9.5hp motor. Not that I have in my Sierra catalogues.

If they do, they will not have the float. They use an aftermarket supplier, Sierra for one, to supply the parts. Sierra does not make floats for your application, nor the kit for that matter unless they do and I am not aware of it.

It is fairly obvious that the one kit is for the 40 hp motor.-----Check it out.--------Just a mistake made by someone with desk / computer experience and little wrench turning experience.

This is a 6hp. Not a 9.5 or 9.9. I been searching for a definitive answer but it all comes down to one carb list as 1968 year only and the other is a range of 1954 to 1979. I can call the parts dept when I get the chance. Just thought I'd check here.

You need the 18-7043, they don't make a float for you, for that go to your local dealer.
