On my 1968 Evinrude Starflight V4 50hp, whenever I start it and let it run for a few seconds it leaks fuel from the bottom. Not leaking from any obvious spots. Fuel pump is good, float doesn’t seem to be stuck, fuel lines look good. Maybe it’s fuel is getting into the cooling system? What is my problem?

You might post this in the Evinrude OB motor forum. Those guys are experts. I also didn't think Evinrude made a 50HP V4, after 1959. They had moved to 60, 70, 80 and 90HP V4 motors (depending on the year) by then.

On my '59 Johnny 50HP V4, there was a hose that collected liquid fuel from the bottom of the intake manifold and dumped it overboard. If that hose was to leak, it would have filled the pan of the motor with fuel. Look very low in the very front of the engine for some brass hose barbs. See if she leaks from there.

I would expect the '68 version to have solved this issue.
