1968 Johnson 9.5 Lower Unit Question

Does anyone know if the lower unit from a 1968 Johnson 9.5 (model number MQ-MQL-14) is interchangeable with the lower unit from a '73 Evinrude 9.5 (model 9322B).

Both of those list the same gear case so I would say that they are most likely identical. I've got a 1969 lower on a 1973. Both were Evinrude 9.5s.
I don't think they changed very much on those through the years.

Yes the gear cases are the same part so too are the driveshaft,, shift rod and water tube, the other bits that have to match up.
