A friend and I wanted to inspected the impeller This was the first time doing this on this engine He was reading the wrong gearcase removel instructions We removed the lower unit in neutral instead of forward How do I get it in forward now THX

Doesn't the hydroelectric shift default to forward when the power is off?

some year do, some don't.
