1969 18hp Evinrude issues

I have a 1969 18hp evinrude. It starts great, it runs great for 15 seconds and dies. recently rebuilt carb, replaced fuel lines and new fuel pump and still same problem. It also will stay running if I keep priming the bulb. Please someone help me out because I’m losing my mind!!!!!!

First educated guess is there is a leak somewhere between the fuel pump and the level of the fuel in the tank. It is sucking air through that leak. Air is lighter than fuel and easier to lift. Most likely it is leaking where the hose couples onto the tank.
