Flywheel was magnetized when the key was on???? Well that is a new one, and I don't know how to respond. Let's just say it is not a normal test. There are permanent magnets inside the flywheel.

That is a complicated and expensive ignition system. Proceed with caution at your own risk, if doing it without a manual and some education. After all, it's only $$money.

I defiently don't want to get into anything to complicated. But I would like to test basic stuff with a meter. I got 16.8 volts from the power pack to the coil so I don't know if that is up to par or not. The next thing to check would be under the flywheel I guess.

are both cylinders not sparking or is it jsut one? make sure the grounds are not connected to the block, because that would cause there to be no spark.

I got no spark on any of them. I am also not geting any amps from the ignition coil. When you crank it you should get some kind of amp draw I would think.
