hi i have read all i can find on here about 55 johnsons but havent been able to find what im looking for sure hope someone can help me here i have a 1969 55hp johnson when you first crank it up its hard to get going then at low speed it want run right at high speed it sounds and runs good but when you slow doun it just dies we had the carbs rebuilt and new fuel pump new gas hoses and tank but its still doing the same thing after you first get it cranked it seems to run ok till you slow it down it makes me feel like a jerks wife going by some one fishing too fast but when you slow down it stops thanks for any help i can get
