1969 chrysler 105 shocks

No tilt trim, just manual. Do the shocks assist in raising the motor, gas charged to take some of the weight off?

The shocks will provide a little bit of resistance but not a lot. When they wear out they become more of a hinderance than anything.<br /><br />TMD

Thanks for the quick response TMD. I just got a pair of used shocks but didnt know if they were supposed to be loaded. Sounds like these are ok then. <br /><br />Thanks again.
